Just wonderful pizza! Real close to where my kids live so occasionally they bring it over for a casual supper!
Ohio Pie is the only place our vegan daughter will eat. Every visit has been on point. And the cookies, you must get the cookies!
Very Ohio style pizza. Great vegan options which is certainly welcome. Make sure you get a cookie.
Heck, yeah. Ohio style pizza is on point and unique. I loved the buttery and crispy bottom of the pizza with a generous portion of pepperoni on top that was crispy. The drizzle of sauce created the final touch. I was pretty sure I would want more sauce, but found myself saying, this is delicious, with every single bite. I kept thinking, I need more sauce, but ultimately realized it was perfect. Super proud to be born and raised in the buckeye state. I will now talk about Ohio style pizza!
Now I'll be the first to admit, I was very scared of trying this "Thanksgiving Pizza" all my co-workers were talking about.... But wow am I happy I took the leap and decided to try it! Sounds crazy, but tastes delicious!!! Everything you could want in a Thanksgiving meal... all on one pizza!!! It's good. I promise. Since we were feeling adventurous this night, we decided to also try their Pickle Pizza....Which (in my opinion) was even better than their Thanksgiving pizza, but I'll admit I'm biased... I LOVE pickles! I don't know how they make these crazy sounding pizzas so delicious, but they definitely gained a couple fans tonight! I'm so excited to try their regular and other creative pizzas in the future! But I will also definitely be counting down the days till next November, when I can get this Thanksgiving pizza again!
As much as I wish they were equal, the Rocky River store just doesn't quite hit the mark as high as the Brunswick store. The cookies are always lacking and fewer. I also got charged for extra sauce today. Not sure if that is new or just something River does, but I feel like they should tell you that. Overall pizza was good. Their pepperoni continues to be my favorite outside of brunch. The mashed potato pizza special was okay, nothing to rave about. Overall, really solid pizza.
Pretty darn good pizza. Ordered the pepperoni and the sauce had a subtle sweetness which I was a big fan of. Love the pepperoni topping to pizza dough ratio. Friendly staff, got takeout pizza in a reasonable fast time, excited to order again. They also have a cool selection of cookies which are thick and melty!
Although I was shocked to eat my first slice and realize that there was no sauce on it, it was absolutely delicious! I thought perhaps they had forgotten to add red sauce to our pepperoni, pineapple, and mushroom pizza, but I looked on their website and saw that they serve their pizza with a cheese blend and garlic oil. Once I knew that, I savored the flavor and strongly enjoyed it! Their crust is chewy, their toppings very flavorful, and the pizza was ready for pickup only 20 minutes after I ordered. My husband said this is his "4th favorite pizza in the Cleveland area, haha. We also grabbed two homemade cookies from them and they were so freakin good-sweet, textured, yum yum yum. We'll be back for sure. I also had their brunch pizza at a friends house a few months back and it was phenomenal!
Was excited to try their new location and the quality is top tier. There usually is a wait for their pizza but I've never had to wait more than 45 minutes from the time the order has been placed. Tons of great options including awesome vegan pizzas. Nick's pick (their rotating specialty choice) is always a hit!
Ohio Pie in Rocky River just opened yesterday. Because I've had pizza from their Brunswick location, I have been eagerly awaiting this new location as its 45 minutes closer to me. I called and placed an order for two medium pizzas, one was the Piggy Bird and the other was the Cheesesteak. I ordered both with vegan cheese instead of regular as I have a dairy allergy. I was informed it would be about 45 minutes. When I pulled in the parking lot about 45 minutes later, there was a line at the door. Word has gotten out that they are open now! Some people paid for their orders and had to wait a little longer, as they were incredibly busy. Luckily, my pizzas were ready by the time I got to the front of the line. I added two vegan cookies as well. I got a Pumpkin Snickerdoodle and a Rocky River - they were two for $5. The whole order was $41. Just as I've had previously, the Piggy Bird was delicious! The cheesesteak was good, just not as good as I expected it to be from previous experiences. And the cookies were absolutely delicious too! Love that they have vegan options and can substitute vegan cheese for those that have dairy allergies or intolerance! And bonus with the vegan cookies!
